Located in central Morris County the Library serves over 24,000 residents as well as its surrounding areas as part of the Morris Automated Information Network (M.A.I.N.). Please check the monthly print and online calendars for detailed dates and times, as well as additional programs, contests, and events.The Rockaway Township Free Public Library seeks two (2) enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented part time Library Assistant to join our team. All Library Board meetings are open to the public. The Library Board of Trustees meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm. Board of Trustees Meeting (Hybrid Meeting via Zoom and at the library) Join Geri and bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch or needlework project. This club meets on the third Thursday of every month. Knit and Crochet Club (adults ages 18 and up) The Book Lovers group meets monthly to discuss a specific book and members exchange great book suggestions.For adults ages 18 and up. Displays are changed monthly by Miss Debbi. There is always an interesting display in the glass case by the fireplace on the main level of the library. Our annual Summer Reading Program is an enriching, educational, and entertaining way to spend the summer! It's open to all ages and ends on August 31. Listen to stories, make a craft, learn and have fun in your pajamas with a stuffed animal friend, if you'd like.
